Sprouting bag
Sprouting bags are made from a finer polyester mesh then a milk bag,
also with a draw string. Keep the seams on the outside so food
particles don't get trapped at the seams.
1/3 of seeds or grains to 2/3 of filtered water. It is very, very important to soak in filtered or purified water so your food isn't contaminated with chlorine or any other chemicals used in a water treatment plant.
Please see sprouting chart below for soaking times.
Drape the sprouting bag over the bowl so the bottom of the bag is off the bottom of the bowl. The water will drip and the seeds or grains will sprout.
Put a plate over top to keep dark and warm. This simulates the environment of the seed being planted in earth.
Stack your bowls, more sprouts in less space!
Please see sprouting chart below for sprouting times.
Wild rice is bloomed in the dehydrator. Use a glass or porcelain dish, no plastic. Pour 2 cups of wild rice in a sprouting bag. Cover with water and dehydrate for 8 to 12 hours. Keep adding water to cover the rice while blooming. Picture will be soon added.
$8 per Bag plus shipping ~ dimension 10" wide x 12" tall
